E&CO awarded 20MW Tarakan Power Plant Project in Indonesia, Kaltara(Busan, Korea)

TARAKAN LNG Power plants to generate 20MW by 20V34DF x 2set Wartsila Engine.



September 8, 2017 - E&CO has been nominated a contract for 20MW Tarakan Power plant project in Tarakan with PT. Cahaya Sakti which is the Independent Power Producer in Indonesia. Power produced from the Tarakan power plant can be supplied to around 20 thousand households simultaneously, which will ensure a stable supply to the industrial complex at Tarakan.


We has been highly praised for the proven quality of power plant construction technology and was awarded the contract after a fierce competition against prominent engineering, procurement and construction(EPC) company.


The scope of work includes Civil work, Gas compression facilities, Utilities, Electric, Engine generator and Sub-stations for Tarakan's power plant. With early engineering work already underway, the project will support to maintaining electric power supply for its sustainable Power supply capacity.


E&CO(CEO, Song, Byung-Geun) said: “We are able to supply a wide range of technical support services from Feasibility Studies, Engineering, Procurement and Constructions as well as technical manpower supports. We look forward to working with PT. Cahaya Sakti to deliver this strategically important project as our first step in Indonesia”.
