[Completed Patent registration] System for reliquefying LNG Boil-Off Gas using hydrogen Boil-Off Gas

E&CO LTD. has completed the patent registration entitled “System for reliquefying LNG Boil Off Gas using hydrogen Boil-Off Gas” on June 3, 2024.

The principle of the invention is to reliquefy NG BOG from LNG fuel tank to utilize hydrogen (H2) BOG(Boil-Off Gas).

As a result, not only reduce occupied space due to not installation on a device for reliquefying but it is able to build a system that minimized energy consumption and operating costs.

2024년 6월 3일 주식회사 이앤코가 액화수소 탱크의 BOG를 활용한 LNG BOG 재액화 시스템 (System for reliquefying LNG Boil-Off Gas using hydrogen Boil-Off Gas)에 대한 특허 등록을 완료했다.

이번 발명의 원리는 액화수소 탱크에서 발생되는 수소(H2) BOG를 활용하여 LNG 연료 탱크에서 발생되는 NG BOG를 재액화시키는 것이다.

결과적으로 재액화를 위한 별도의 장치를 설치하지 않아도 되므로 차지하는 공간을 축소할 수 있 을 뿐만 아니라, 추가적인 운용 비용 및 에너지 소모를 최소화할 수 있는 시스템을 구축할 수 있게됐다.
